Silly Goose Sewing Pattern

OMG.

Oh my GOOSE…

Seriously, if a spend another minute on this pattern I fear I may disappoint my mother. Every time they stop by for a quick visit and I show her my progress she exclaims ‘you are still working on that darn goose?!’…

Yes. I am. Or was. Maybe am-was.

I do have the mild intention to create short videos of the process to help beginner adventurous doll makers along! Thing is… I am not particularly fond of video - any bit of the process… but I sure do appreciate all the other makers that have pulled me along through the tricky bits with hands on video!

This doll first came into concept a couple of years ago when Penny was leaving for Ontario for school. You may not know this but… if you toss Oat/Corn Bran her way she will immediately fall to her knees, morphing into a goose, complete with honking and flapping elbow wings - and pecks away at all the cereal until the floor is clean…

Needless to say, I did not complete the doll then… but I pulled the draft out this past spring and starting pecking away at it. And it took this long… because summer means I am in full gear mom mode 24/7 with no routine to save me. YIKES.
