Quilted Stocking Sewing Pattern with a ruffle option…

A couple of weeks ago, I finally released the Heirloom Quilted STOCKING sewing pattern! Whew.

I was rather excited about this pattern… SO MANY OPTIONS!

• a stocking with NO ruffle

• a stocking with a small ruffle

• a stocking with a long ruffle

• a stocking with a keyhole on the back seam (for hanging!)

• a binding top or NO binding

Pretty much covers all the different variations for a classic stocking. The only problem I had was deciding which one to make - I keep falling in love with more fabric and feel drawn to sew MORE.

As per usual, the pattern is written with the absolute beginner in mind. Pictures of every single step along the way.

On a personal note, I had visions of the styling a photoshoot for all the patterns with a Christmas theme. The visions are pretty marvellous - as dreamy as sugar plums dancing… I may still find the gumption to follow through, but life is a balance and right now the scales have me tipping elsewhere! One step at a time!
