Digital Photos above (Nikon D850)

We are all moving PARTS.

I fear the only STILLNESS is found in the in-between of it all. Whatever THAT is.

Last December all of my babies were home, altogether, AT LAST.

Pictures were in order. Long overdue.

I have become rather a DUD with the camera and such.

Perpetual overwhelm.

Managing the moving parts has slowly became CHASING…

Which then evolved into GRASPING.

Landing into plain ol’ murky SLUDGE.

LUCKILY, our family has a ‘Hudson’. A person of a spirited temperament that is up for ANYTHING. Including our NONSENSE. I gladly, perhaps desperately, handed over my cameras - my reliable digital, a Pentax K1000 with Kodak Gold 200 film, a Fuji ‘disposable’ film one. Is anything ACTUALLY disposable???

And he effortlessly obliged in creating STILLNESS of all of our disarray.

He captured the IN-BETWEEN. The place my heart finds rhythm again.

And I am so beyond DELIGHTED

and mesmerized

by my BABIES.

And how simple it can actually be to capture the moving parts.

Lesson learned.
